Product Introduction
Embossed glass, also known as patterned glass or knurled glass, is a special glass widely used in the field of architecture. It is a flat glass made by rolling method. Before the glass hardens, a roller with patterns is used to press patterns on one or both sides of the glass, thus making embossed glass with patterns on one or both sides.
Production Process
1. Design: Draw the required pattern and texture according to the design requirements.
2. Make molds: Make corresponding molds according to the design patterns and textures. The mold materials can be gypsum, aluminum molds or silicon molds.
3. Prepare raw materials: Cut the glass to be processed into appropriate sizes as required and ensure the surface finish.
4. Embossing: Put the glass into the mold, heat it at high temperature (about 700℃) to soften it, and then use pressure to make the glass react with the mold to form the required pattern and texture on the glass surface.
5. Cooling: After the embossing is completed, cool the mold and glass together until the temperature drops to about room temperature.
6. Post-processing: Clean and polish the glass to make the pattern and texture clearer and brighter.
7. Quality inspection: Carry out strict quality inspection, including appearance inspection, dimension measurement, strength test, etc., to ensure that it meets relevant standards and requirements.
