Laminated Glass Privacy-Protecting Glass for Hotel

Laminated glass hotel privacy protection glass consists of two or more layers of glass with one or more layers of organic polymer intermediate film (such as PVB, SGP, etc.) sandwiched between them.

Product Introduction

Laminated glass hotel privacy protection glass consists of two or more layers of glass with one or more layers of organic polymer intermediate film (such as PVB, SGP, etc.) sandwiched between them. After special high-temperature pre-pressing and high-temperature and high-pressure process treatment, the glass and the intermediate film are permanently bonded together. This structure gives laminated glass excellent impact resistance, sound insulation and heat insulation performance, while providing privacy protection function.

Production Process

1. Material selection Select high-quality glass sheets and select the required thickness according to requirements.

1. Glass cutting Precise cutting to ensure cutting quality and accuracy.

2. Glass edge grinding Fine grinding, edge grinding of cut glass to eliminate quick cuts and fine cracks and improve edge smoothness.

3. Washing and drying Wash the edged glass to remove dust, oil and impurities on the surface to ensure subsequent bonding. Drying is required after washing to prevent moisture from affecting subsequent processing.

4. Tempered The principle is to form a layer of compressive stress on the surface of the glass to avoid glass breakage, so as to improve the strength of the glass, and better resist breakage. Even if it breaks, it is small particles, which greatly reduces the possibility of injury.

5. Lamination and pressing After cleaning, the glass and the film are laminated, initially pressed, and firmly bonded together with high pressure and strong bonding force to ensure the quality and achieve a transparent effect.

6. Quality inspection: Strict quality inspection, including appearance inspection, dimension measurement, strength test, etc., is carried out to ensure that it meets relevant standards and requirements.

Product Specifications

1. Single-layer glass thickness: 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, etc.

2. PVB film thickness: Common PVB film thickness has a variety of specifications such as 0.38~2.28mm.

3. According to the different combinations of single-layer glass thickness and interlayer film thickness, the overall thickness of laminated glass will also be different.

Customized according to customer needs.

Application

Laminated glass hotel privacy protection glass is widely used in many places due to its unique privacy protection, heat insulation, sound insulation and safety performance, especially in the hotel industry, providing guests with a safe, comfortable and private living environment.

Product Features

Privacy protection:

Laminated glass can achieve transparent, translucent or opaque state of glass by adjusting its internal dimming film or PVB film, so as to meet the privacy protection needs in different scenarios.

In hotels and other occasions where guests' privacy needs to be protected, laminated glass can effectively block the line of sight, prevent external peeping, and provide guests with a safe and comfortable living environment.

Heat insulation performance:

Laminated glass has excellent heat insulation performance, which can effectively reduce the external heat entering the room, reduce the indoor temperature and improve the indoor comfort.

This not only helps to reduce the energy consumption of refrigeration equipment such as air conditioners, but also saves operating costs for hotels, while improving the living experience of guests.

Sound insulation effect:

The PVB film of laminated glass can effectively absorb sound waves and achieve good sound insulation effect.

In the case of noisy urban environment, laminated glass can effectively isolate the interference of external noise and provide guests with a quiet rest environment.

Safety:The middle layer of laminated glass uses materials that are difficult to break, such as polypropylene, and has high anti-theft performance.

Even if the glass is hit or broken by external force, the fragments will not fly around, but will be glued together by the middle layer, which is not easy to hurt people, ensuring the safety of hotel guests.

Aesthetics:Laminated glass can be colored according to design needs, adding novel and beautiful visual effects to the hotel.

At the same time, laminated glass can also be customized according to the hotel's decoration style and color matching to enhance the overall aesthetics of the hotel.

FAQ

Q1. Will laminated glass debond?

A1: Under normal circumstances, laminated glass will not debond. However, if the moisture content of the PVB film exceeds the standard, the glass surface is not thoroughly cleaned, the film is improperly stored or used, and the autoclave processing parameters are set incorrectly, debonding may occur. Therefore, these factors need to be strictly controlled during production and use.

Q2. Why are there bubbles inside the laminated glass?

A2: The appearance of bubbles inside the laminated glass may be caused by excessive flatness of the tempered glass, wrinkles caused by improper storage of the film, excessive humidity in the laminating room, and improper setting of the pre-pressing parameters. In order to avoid bubbles, it is necessary to ensure the flatness and quality of the glass and film, as well as a suitable production environment.

Q3. Why is there a lack of glue on the edge of the laminated glass?

A3: The lack of glue on the edge of the laminated glass is usually caused by poor flatness of the tempered glass and improper laminating operation, which causes the film to be stretched or shrunk. Choosing glass with good flatness and standardizing the laminating operation can avoid the problem of lack of glue on the edge.

Q4. How to prevent cracks in laminated glass?

A4: To prevent cracks in laminated glass, it is necessary to ensure that qualified tempered glass is used and that heat is evenly distributed across the glass surface during heating and cooling in the autoclave. In addition, reasonable mounting and fixing methods can also help prevent cracks.
