Product Introduction
Laminated bulletproof safety glass is a special glass with high strength and high transparency. It is composed of one or more layers of high-toughness polymer film (such as PVB, SGP, PU, etc.) sandwiched between multiple layers of glass plates. It not only maintains the light transmittance of the glass, but also has excellent bulletproof, impact resistance and penetration resistance. It is widely used in high-risk fields such as military, finance, and transportation.
Production Process
The production process of laminated bulletproof safety glass mainly includes the following steps:
1. Preparation of glass original sheet: Select high-quality float glass as the original sheet, cut, clean and dry it.
2. Lamination: In the dustproof room, overlap in the order of panel glass substrate, polymer film (such as PVB film), and back panel glass substrate, and seal the surrounding with edge strips.
3. Pre-pressing: Place the stacked laminated glass on a flat press for pre-pressing to expel the air in it.
4. Filler injection: filler (such as dibutyl phthalate) is evenly injected from the edge gap reserved for the pre-pressed laminated glass to make the two pieces of glass more air-free and then seal.
5. High temperature and high pressure treatment: the laminated glass injected with filler is sent to the autoclave for curing treatment at a certain temperature and pressure to firmly bond the polymer film to the glass plate.
6. Post-processing: the finished product is post-processed such as cutting, edge grinding, and cleaning to meet the specific needs of customers.
Specifications
Laminated bulletproof safety glass has various specifications, which are usually customized according to customer needs and application scenarios. Common specifications include:
Glass thickness: generally 312mm, total thickness (including polymer film) between 620mm.
Bulletproof grade: formulated according to international standards (such as European standard EN1063, American standard UL752, etc.), different bulletproof grades correspond to different impact energies of bullets and objects.
Technical Features
High strength: the composite structure of multi-layer glass and polymer film makes laminated bulletproof safety glass have extremely high strength and impact resistance.
High transparency: high-quality glass panels and polymer films ensure the high transparency of the product, making the indoor light sufficient and the vision clear.
Bulletproof performance: It can effectively resist the penetration of bullets and other high-speed impact objects, protecting the safety of people and property.
Impact resistance: Even if it is subjected to strong impact, it will not break into sharp fragments, reducing the harm to the human body.
Weather resistance: The specially treated polymer film has good weather resistance and is not easy to age, which prolongs the service life of the product.
